Worldwide H1 SIM Configuration Guide

Update the configuration on your device to work worldwide on LTE Cat 1 4G/3G/2G networks after installing the upgraded communication board.

Update the configuration on your device to work worldwide on LTE Cat 1 4G/3G/2G networks after installing the upgraded communication board or H1 SIM card.

Swap the module

Follow the board replacement instructions to swap the module:

Update the device configuration

Use the Module Swap Wizard in ZENTRA Utility Mobile to update the settings in your device. If you do not have access to ZENTRA Utility Mobile, follow the manual steps below in the terminal in ZENTRA Utility for desktop.


Terminal Commands (Manual)

Requirements

  • The correct module. See Module Identification.
  • SIM card number starting with 8944.
  • Firmware version 2.10 or later.

Steps:

  1. Connect
    1. Connect via a cabled connection (Desktop).
  2. Terminal
    1. Click Terminal in the Menu bar to open the terminal window.
  3. Set the trait
    1. Type set trait 2 and press enter.
    2. The response in the terminal should be "OK".
    3. Type get trait to verify the setting has been updated.
    4. The response in the terminal should be "2".
  4. Set the Access Point Name or APN
    1. Type set apn h.meter.apn and press enter.
    2. The response in the terminal should be "OK".
    3. Type get apn to verify the setting has been updated.
    4. The response in the terminal should be "h.meter.apn".
  5. Set the Profile
    1. Type set profile 201 and press enter.
    2. The response in the terminal should be "OK".
    3. Type get profile to verify the setting has been updated.
    4. The response in the terminal should be "201".
  6. Test
    1. Disconnect the logger from the ZENTRA Utility and then re-connect.
    2. Run a communication test to verify connectivity with the network.
