ZENTRA Cloud 2.0 Subscriptions

ZENTRA Cloud 2.0 introduces a simplified and more predictable subscription model designed to make billing easier to manage for individual organizations.

Subscription management is coming to ZENTRA Cloud 2.0 in late July 2026!

ZENTRA Cloud 2.0 introduces new subscription options designed to give teams more flexibility in how they manage devices, renewals, and billing. In addition to traditional per‑device subscriptions, you can now choose an account‑level plan with a shared renewal date.

Subscription Overview

New Subscription Options in ZENTRA Cloud 2.0

ZENTRA Cloud 2.0 supports two subscription structures:

  1. Account Plans - one shared renewal date across multiple devices
  2. Per‑Device Plans - each device renews independently

If you manage more than 5 devices and want one invoice and renewal date, choose an Account Plan. If each device has a different owner or billing cycle, use Per-Device Plans.

Account Plans

Best for teams that add devices over time

Account plans use a single annual renewal date for all devices on the account. When new devices are added mid‑cycle, their subscription cost is prorated so they align with the existing renewal date.

Standard + High Data - Annual (Shared Renewal Date)

For cellular devices, 15-minute upload interval

Key Benefits

  • One renewal date for all devices on the account plan
  • Easier budget planning
  • Prorated pricing for devices added mid‑term

Per‑Device Plans

Best for standalone or individual deployments

With per‑device plans, each device has its own subscription period based on when it is activated. Devices renew independently and do not share a common renewal date.

Description

Standard - 12-Month (Individual Renewal Date)

For all device types

Standard + High Data - 12‑Month (Individual Renewal Date)

For cellular devices, 15-minute upload interval

Key Benefits

  • Independent billing per device
  • Flexible for unique or temporary deployments
  • No account‑wide renewal coordination required

Account Balance

The account on each organization can be used to purchase, renew or upgrade subscription services.

You can add funds to your account by:

  • Redeeming a subscription code
  • Paying directly with a credit card

The account provides additional flexibility, allowing you to manage renewals and new subscriptions without entering payment details each time.

Auto‑Renewal

ZENTRA Cloud 2.0 introduces an auto‑renew feature for subscriptions.

When a device is set to auto‑renew:

  • The subscription automatically renews for the next plan period
  • Renewal charges are deducted from the account balance
  • Devices remain active without manual intervention

Subscribed devices will auto-renew. To disable auto‑renew, simply unsubscribe the device.

What happens if a subscription expires?

Data collected during the subscription period remains available. Data collected outside the subscription period is still collected by our servers but is not available until the device is resubscribed. All data collected during the period in between subscriptions is made available once a device is subscribed again.
