Alerts help you monitor your devices and data. You can create Alert Rules to track device performance and environmental measurements, then set up Notification Groups to receive email or SMS alerts when thresholds are exceeded.

Please note: Alerts are not currently available in Beta.

Accessing Alerts

  • From the navigation bar, select Alerts.

View Existing Alerts
  • All alerts you have configured from the Explorer will display on this page.
  • You can edit existing alert rules or create new ones directly from this view.
  • A default alert rule for Devices is automatically created, which you can customize or subscribe to as needed.

Create a Device Alert

Follow these steps to set up monitoring for your devices:

  • Click Create Alert and select Device from the options.
  • Enter a descriptive name for your alert rule.
  • Choose which devices you want to monitor by selecting them from the available list.
  • Optional: Adjust the battery threshold using the slider to set when you want to be notified about low battery levels.
  • Select an existing Notification Group or choose New Group to create one.
  • Click Save to activate your alert rule.

Create Notification Groups

Notification Groups allow you to organize who receives alerts and how they are delivered:

  • Click Create Group.
  • Enter a clear name for the group that identifies its purpose.
  • Add the team members who should receive notifications for this group.
  • Click Manage Notifications to choose whether members receive alerts via SMS, Email, or both.
  • Click Create to save your notification group.

Manage Notification Groups

You can modify existing notification groups after they have been created:

  • Once a group is assigned to an alert, click on the group name or select the three dots menu and choose Manage.
  • Add new members to the group or remove existing ones as your team changes.
  • Click Manage Notifications to update notification preferences, switching between SMS and Email delivery options for each member.
